Back to School 2013
Each fall, Agnes Scott's new and veteran students experience rich traditions shared by generations of Agnes Scott Scotties. About 250 enthusiastic (and maybe a little or a lot nervous) first-year Scotties arrived on campus for their first few days at Agnes Scott. First-year students moved in with help from their friends, family and the entire Agnes Scott community, including Agnes Scott alumnae, students, faculty and staff. The academic year is kicked off with bagpipe accompaniment at Opening Convocation, and the seniors were honored at Senior Investiture. Then, first-year students participate in the Honor Code Signing, where they pledge to live by Agnes Scott's more than 100 year old, student-led Honor Code. Welcome to another life-changing year at Agnes Scott!
