The ASC Jazz Ensemble will perform "Summertime," by George Gershwin, "Smile," composed by Charlie Chaplin, and "It Don't Mean a Thing, " by Duke Ellington and many more.  All three pieces are arranged by Jazz Ensemble and World Percussion Ensemble director Emrah Kotan and  the Agnes Scott Jazz Ensemble. Listeners will experience the unique approach of jazz standards with a strong world music flavor in this great concert. It is going to be more then a concert; it will be a musical journey.
