Prospective Student Information

Visiting Agnes Scott’s campus, whether that’s in-person or virtually, is an important way of seeing what it’s like to be a Scottie. We offer a variety of virtual experiences, including virtual campus visits, open house events, workshops to prepare for the application season, and a 360-degree virtual tour.

We are also offering in-person campus tours and open house experiences. All on-campus experiences will require safety precautions and social distancing to keep you and our community safe. Please note that Agnes Scott requires all persons to wear an appropriate face covering while on campus and complete a health screening at the Office of Admission prior to exploring campus.

We are excited to get to help you learn more about Agnes Scott and our Scottie family!

Information for Undergraduate Applicants for Fall 2022

The Office of Admission recognizes that applying to college continues to look different in the age of COVID-19. Here are a few things Agnes Scott is doing to help you with your application process this year:

  • Test-Optional: Agnes Scott has been a test-optional college for 10+ years. All students are able to choose to submit SAT or ACT scores if they feel they are a good representation of them academically. No penalty is incurred should students wish to proceed without test scores. We review applications holistically based on several factors, including courses taken, grades received, college essay, activities and honors, recommendations, and, if submitted, test scores. Test scores are not required to be submitted to qualify for merit-based or need-based scholarships or financial aid.
  • Merit-based scholarships and financial aid are available to students applying by the regular decision deadline, March 15. For questions about scholarships and financial aid, reach out to your admission counselor.
  • Holistic Review: Every high school has worked on a different schedule the last few years. We review every application holistically, meaning we’re going to find out how your school is handling grades and classes and keep that in mind when reviewing your application.
Flexibility: Are you having an issue with your application or required materials? Talk to us about options. Find your admission counselor.
