Teaching and Scholarly Interests

Teaching: Introductory psychology, Psychology of Women, Introduction of Counseling, Research Methods, Health Psychology, Developmental Psychology. Dr. Jernigan-Noesi's research investigates the influences of race and culture of mental and physical health treatment and outcomes. Her scholarship specifically focuses on topics related to racial identity development, racial trauma, intersectionality, and health disparities among Black girls and women.
