Agnes Scott College has elected to use an online resource for textbooks. Online textbook sales – especially at small colleges – have become the norm as more and more students recognize the cost-savings and increased choices available online (e.g., electronic versions of textbooks, rental options, comparing prices across vendors) as opposed to buying their textbooks at physical stores. Faculty members will post information about textbooks for their classes prior to the start of each semester through Follett, and Agnes Scott students may then order their textbooks from Follett or any vendor of their choice.
The college is in negotiation with Follett about how best to do this. More information will be provided as soon as possible.
Check the Commencement website for updates on this information.
In addition to the wonderful mix of books and gifts from its Little Five Points location, Charis at Agnes Scott College will carry most items that were sold in the Alston bookstore, with the exception of textbooks. Featured items will include Agnes Scott College-branded merchandise and clothing, toiletries, school supplies, snacks
Charis at Agnes Scott College will sell official Agnes Scott College merchandise in its store and soon on its website. Select Agnes Scott merchandise also is available for purchase online through Follett.
