The Agnes $20,000 Assurance

In these uncertain times, you can find certainty in Agnes Scott - apply, and you will receive our $20,000 Assurance.

The college search process can be challenging every year, but never moreso than what high school seniors and transfers are experiencing right now. We recognize what a daunting task this process has been for you this year, a year typically filled with excitement and anticipation of the future, and felt we wouldn't be true to our student-centered commitment if we did not take action.

Through the generosity of our donors, the Agnes Assurance Plan guarantees that all new undergraduate students who apply by March 15 by May 3 and are admitted to Agnes Scott College for fall 2021 will be offered a renewable merit-based scholarship of at least $20,000. To qualify, submit your Common Application and supporting documents by our upcoming posted deadlines. If you are admitted to the college, you will be offered a scholarship; it's as simple as that. It's important to note that based on the strength of your application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you may qualify for additional merit and/or need-based aid from Agnes Scott.

This scholarship is open to students who are U.S. citizens/permanent residents, DACA recipients and undocumented students, international students, homeschool applicants and transfer students.

If you are a high school senior, submit your Common Application and required supporting documents by March 15 by May 3 in order to be considered for the $20,000 Agnes Assurance Plan.

If you are a transfer student, apply via the Common Application and submit required application documents on or before June 1, to qualify for the $20,000 Agnes Assurance Plan.

The Agnes Assurance Plan is our commitment to making
a one-of-a-kind college education affordable for all students, no matter their background or financial situation, and to our longstanding mission of engaging the intellectual and social challenges of our times.

At Agnes Scott, 99% of our students receive scholarship and/or grant aid (money that doesn't have to be paid back), reducing the total cost of their college attendance by 57%, and the Agnes Assurance Plan is yet another way of recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of our future Scotties, especially during these uncertain times.  Apply to Agnes Scott by March 15, 2021 by May 3, be admitted, and the Agnes Assurance plan guarantees you will receive a minimum of $20,000 in scholarship money per year to help offset the cost of your education.

When you choose Agnes Scott, you become part of an innovative academic experience called SUMMIT, and join a vibrant living-learning community of future global leaders and change agents, all with faculty scholars dedicated to you as you build your dream. Our Assurance is where you begin.
