Advising Tips:

As cliché as it sounds, I would advise incoming students to just take a deep breathe. At this moment in time, everything seems so rushed and everything seems to be coming from every direction. You are worrying about getting along with your roommate, making friends, or even how you are going to deal with the Georgia heat. But, you have to remember to breathe and stay in the moment because there is no use in worrying. When you take a breath and just live in the moment, everything else will fall into place.

To me, academic success is…

feeling good about what you have accomplished.
