Noble Heritage Center

The Betty Pope Scott Noble '44 College Heritage Center, on the second floor of McCain Library, is a museum displaying historical documents, photographs and artifacts relating to Agnes Scott (the person and the institution) and the Scott family.

  • The handwritten minutes of the 1889 meeting at which the school was founded
  • A picture of the student body in 1891
  • One of the first two diplomas ever issued by the school in 1893
  • Student rules and regulations over the decades
  • A collection of rings including rings from the early years before the adoption of the black onyx in 1935
  • A decade-by-decade photo timeline from 1889 to the present including

    • Student activities and fashions
    • Aerial views of the college from the 1920s to the present
