Sophomore Ring Ceremony

During Sophomore Family Weekend, when families of sophomores are honored, entertained and introduced to their daughters' friends and professors, the college holds the Sophomore Ring Ceremony. The highlight of the weekend is the ring ceremony Saturday night in Gaines Chapel in Presser Hall.

Family and friends share in the excitement as sophomores receive their Agnes Scott class rings, a special rite of passage in every Agnes Scott student’s college life.

Students show the ASC rings on their hands.

The onyx rings are inscribed with the letters “ASC” and the sophomore’s class year. The rings are presented in beautiful wooden boxes bearing the school seal.

I can't believe I'm half-way through college already!
