Internships
An internship is an experience consisting of substantive and supervised work that complements a student's academic program. It is distinguished from other work experiences because it is directly related to a student's program of study and has clearly defined learning objectives. In addition, it provides the opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills by applying academic solutions to real life problems. The long-term goal of any internship is to develop mutually beneficial relationships between students, businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Resume Referrals
Our resume referral program allows employers to submit job listings that we not only list on campus through our job listing service (see above), but also publicize to seniors via direct contact and e-mail messages. Seniors submit their resumes for job listings of interest, and Career Planning forwards collected resumes to the appropriate employers.
On-Campus Interviews
Employers recruiting seniors for full-time career positions are welcome to interview on campus at any mutually convenient time. The registration process requires employers to submit position announcements and company information. We publicize job opportunities using this information and schedule you for a day of interviews. Call 404 471-6397 for more information.
Recruiting Visits
Call 404 471-6397 to schedule an on-campus recruiting visit. We should have at least three weeks notice to make necessary facilities arrangements and publicize your visit. Display days and times are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Career Fairs
Agnes Scott co-hosts two large career fairs each year, the careers consortium fair in the fall and the GACE college to career fair in the spring. Additionally, our students are included in fairs held at Emory University each year. See a complete list of our career fairs
