Hiram Ramirez
Interim Director of Campus Life and Student Engagement

Hiram Ramirez is the Interim Director of Campus Life and Student Engagement. He has a passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds and supporting their growth into the powerful change agents they all can become.  He is also a proud graduate of Valencia Community College with an Associate’s degree in Education, double B.A. in International Studies and Philosophy and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida.  He engages in intellectual conversations about equity and the future of higher education with colleagues and enjoys reading fantasy books late into the night.

Ikeranda Smith
Interim Assistant Director of Campus Life and Intercultural Engagement

Ikeranda Smith is the Interim Assistant Director of Campus Life and Intercultural Engagement. She has been in the education field since August of 2005. Prior to Agnes Scott, she completed her B.S. in Business Management from National Louis University and she is currently working on a dual degree in Psychology at Walden University. She is an advocate for promoting self-awareness in young women and serving the undocumented homeless population.  Ikeranda is a devoted mother of two wonderful children, Canada and Corwin Jr.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, creating another work of art, and assessing how she can revolutionize the world by extending compassion everywhere she goes.

Miriam Panton
Administrative Assistant and Operations Manager

Miriam Panton is the Administrative Assistant and Operations Manager. She provides administrative support for the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) and manages tasks to ensure the mission of the Alston Campus Center (ACC) takes place. She is originally from Brazil and received her B.A. in Economics at Gama Filho University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Miriam is married to Clifford and the mother of a Oglethorpe junior named Daniel. She loves to work with students, and enjoys music, yoga, meditation and converse about life in general.

Haron Atkinson
Graduate Coordinator for Inclusive Leadership

Haron Atkinson is the Graduate Coordinator for Inclusive Leadership.  Prior to Agnes Scott he received his B.A. in Sociology from Trinity College (Hartford, Connecticut) and is currently a graduate student in the Joint M.A./Ph.D program in Sociology at Georgia State University.  He has previously served the Agnes Scott community in the Center for Student Engagement as the Graduate Coordinator for Student Programming.

Jonna Greer
Graduate Coordinator for Community Wellness

Jonna Leanne Greer is the Graduate Coordinator for Community Wellness. She is completing her last year as a Master's student in the College Student Affairs program at the University of West Georgia. Prior to Agnes Scott, she completed her B.A. in Foreign Language with a concentration in Spanish at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she found her passion for student affairs while serving as Student Government President and as a Resident Assistant.

Rachel Bryant
Communications Fellow

Rachel Bryant is returning to her Alma Mater to serve as the Communications Fellow in the Center for Student Engagement. After graduating in 2009 with a B.A. in Art History and exploring life outside of the college, she has returned to Decatur to settle down with her partner David Pack and start a family. When she's not working at a women's boutique in downtown Decatur or getting new craft ideas from Pinterest, she and David spend time with their dogs.
