How did an education at Agnes Scott make a difference to you as you prepared for medical school?
I was looking for an expedited path to medical school and Agnes Scott was able to provide that for me. The fact that I was able to complete the post-baccalaureate pre-med program in one year meant that I could realize my dream of entering medical school more quickly than I had anticipated.
Agnes Scott prepared me well for medical school. The classes were challenging and rigorous and the professors were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their respective areas of expertise.
I was also glad to find that the program was designed for nontraditional students who shared similar goals, experiences and educational backgrounds. Overall, I am pleased with my experience at Agnes Scott and would recommend the program to other students transitioning to medical careers.
Tell us about a memorable experience that you had in one of your classes.
My most memorable classroom experience was without a doubt the fetal pig dissection in Dr. Thompson’s Animal Biology course. It was the first time I had ever dissected an animal, so I was fascinated.
