Resource Center for Math and Science
Math Learning Center
The Math Learning Center is an enabling environment for you to seek assistance with mathematical problems in any of your course work. Learning assistants (advanced students in mathematics) are available each week Sunday through Thursday in Campbell G-23, according to the schedule for the current semester. In addition, learning assistants lead weekly supplemental workshops for Math 118 (Calculus I), which are open to all students enrolled in the course and are intended to provide structured opportunities to engage with the course content on a deeper level and increase understanding of key concepts.
Students are encouraged to drop in and work among themselves or with a learning assistant during posted hours. Individual appointments may also be made. The Math Learning Assistant schedule is posted on class Moodle sites and the Mathematics department web page.
