What is it like to go to a women’s college?
I like the fact that everyone in Agnes Scott tries to improve the lives of women in general. The environment of the school is definitely unique and there are many things that cannot be experienced in co-ed institutions.
What do you value most about ASC?
I value the mission statement of Agnes Scott. I love the fact that “Agnes Scott College educates students to think deeply, live honorably, and engage the intellectual and social challenges of their times.” I also am fascinated by the fact that Agnes Scott students try to think deeply, live honorably, and challenge themselves.
Tell us about a memorable Agnes Scott experience.
As an international student, I was worried about starting a college life. However, the orientation that Agnes Scott offered me was so memorable that I wanted to be part of the orientation for the next incoming class. Although I could not understand why the orientation was so long in the beginning, every part of the orientation was necessary and valuable experiences to become a part of the Agnes Scott community.
