J.D. Fite will join Agnes Scott College as its senior director of communications on July 12.
Fite comes to Agnes Scott from The Galloway School, where he served as director of marketing communications since 2008. He was previously a marketing consultant at Stein Communications from 2004 until 2008, managing marketing campaigns for such schools as Charleston School of Law, University of Richmond School of Law and City University of New York.
“J.D. is familiar with the college and will build on our already strong efforts to engage prospective students and donors through our marketing and communications efforts,” said Rob Parker, vice president of college advancement at Agnes Scott.
He also served as director of communications at Marist School from 2001 until 2004 and director of membership for the International Society for Technology in Education from 1997 until 2001.
Fite received his B.A. in philosophy from Sewanee: The University of the South and his M.A. in film studies from Emory University.
