Basic Features for a Basic Phone

Call Hold

To put call on hold---Press recall/switchhook, dial *4, lay handset down, do not hang up.
Return to held call--Hang up, phone will ring, answer, begin talking.
Consult 3rd party---Press recall/switchhook, dial *4, dial 3rd party, talk.
To alternate---Press recall/switchhook, dial *4, begin talking.

Call Transfer
To 3rd Party---Press recall/switchhook, dial extension, pres recall/switchhook, hang up.

Call Waiting
End call & answer--Hang up, phone will ring, answer, begin talking.
Hold 1st call---Press recall/switchhook, dial *4, begin talking.
To alternate---Press recall/switchhook, dial *4, begin talking.
Return to 1st call---Hang up, phone will ring, answer, begin talking.

Conference Call (3-party)
Pick up receiver (or press speaker) to get dial tone.
Dial 1st number, when party answers, ask them to hold for conference call.
Press recall (or flash) to get 2nd dial tone (this places the 1st call on hold).
Dial 2nd number, when party answers, ask them to hold for conference call.
Press recall (or flash), all three parties will be on line.

Message Waiting (stutter tone at call initiation)
To get messages: Dial 5000, then enter extension number and #, then enter password and #, press 2, 0.
Delete messages: After listening to message, press *D, hang up.

Last Number Redial
To activate, listen for dial tone, dial #73 (Note: will not redial authorization codes).
