Agnes Scott's capital gifts officers work with potential donors who have the means to make significant gifts to support the Agnes Scott
endowment,
academic programs, building construction and capital needs.
Endowed funds exist in perpetuity, and form a solid foundation for the financial well-being of the institution. More than that, they offer donors unique opportunities to honor or memorialize a loved one, a classmate, or a favorite professor and carry that name forward to future students and faculty members. Gifts to the endowment may also be unrestricted, supporting the overall mission of the college.
Gifts to academic programs support the work of Agnes Scott faculty and the college's commitment to liberal studies, including the humanities, fine arts, mathematics and the natural and social sciences. Academic programs may be supported by establishing endowed funds or making gifts to current operations.
Naming opportunities are still available in several of the facilities that were constructed or renovated in Agnes Scott's $100 million campus expansion: the renovation of Letitia Pate Evans Dining Hall, expansion and renovation of the James Ross McCain Library, the new Mary Brown Bullock Science Center on the new South Quad, the renovation of the Anna I. Young Alumnae House and the new Julia Thompson Smith Chapel.
