Rachel Swarns, Black Herstory Month Keynote Speaker

Author and New York Times reporter Rachel Swarns will speak at Agnes Scott College on Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Letitia Pate Evans Hall, Terrace Level. A book signing will follow the reading.

A political correspondent for The New York Times since 1995, Swarns has covered numerous stories on national politics and two presidential campaigns. She is also the author of American Tapestry: The Story of the Black, White and Multiracial Ancestors of Michelle Obama, a history of the First Lady’s family.
