Author, graphic novelist, screenwriter and children’s book writer Neil Gaiman will speak at 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, at Presser Hall, Gaines Chapel, with book signing to follow.

Gaiman’s work includes the recent film adaptation of his 2003 book,
Coraline, which won that year’s Hugo award for best novella. The comic book series,
The Sandman is his work as well. His visit to Decatur is part of a contest connected to his recent book,
The Graveyard Book, winner of the 2009 Newbury Award for Children’s Literature.
A number of tickets have been reserved for the Agnes Scott College community, which will be available after Thanksgiving break.
