The Agnes Scott College Environmental and Sustainability
Studies Program is seeking a part-time instructor to co-teach ESS 101
(Introduction to Environmental and Sustainability Studies) during the fall
semester 2013. This part-time instructor will focus on the policy, law,
community engagement and ethics portion of the course and will co-teach with a
full-time Biology department faculty member.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of a master’s degree in environmental
policy, law or science (or equivalent experience) and preferably be ABD in a
Ph.D. program. Candidates will also be asked to provide evidence of excellence
in teaching at the college level.
