Kirk Pre-/Post-Doctoral Fellow in Modern Middle Eastern History

The Agnes Scott College History Department invites applications for the Kirk Pre-/Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Modern Middle Eastern History for Spring 2014. This one-semester fellowship offers mentored support to an early-career teacher-scholar in a liberal arts environment. Candidates must either have received a Ph.D. in History within the past five years or have attained ABD status in a History graduate program. The teaching load will consist of two courses, a survey of the Middle East and an upper-level course in the fellow’s area of expertise. In addition the appointed fellow will make a public presentation to the campus community.

To apply, please submit a cover letter, CV, three recent letters of recommendation, and student evaluations by September 15, 2013 to: Mary Cain, Department of History, Agnes Scott College, 141 E.
