Career Planning Staff
Mrs. Neiner has served as Director of Career Planning since 2003. Prior to coming to Agnes Scott College, Mrs. Neiner served as the Director of MBA Career Services at Georgia Tech.
In 2006, Mrs. Neiner was one of six U.S. career-services professionals awarded a Fulbright to study the emerging career-services profession in Germany. Her research involves developing realistic expectations of first post-college jobs, and she has also published articles on interviewing, career-search strategies and communications.
Mrs. Neiner enjoys textile arts and sitting on the beach reading magazines.
Irene Foran, Office
Mrs. Foran manages the operations of Career Planning. She works with recruiters who want to hire Scotties and grad school representatives who want Scotties to apply. In addition, she schedules appointments, arranges events and keeps all the resources up-to-date.
Before coming to Agnes Scott, she had a career in marketing and worked at Turner Broadcasting and The Weather Channel.
Irene enjoys travel and reading. Practice your Spanish with her as she is bilingual!
Nika Daryooni is the Graduate Coordinator for Career Programming and Counseling. She will be in the office approximately 19 hours per week. She is a candidate for a Master of Public Policy from Georgia State University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. Prior to Agnes Scott, Nika received her bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University where she found a growing interest in student affairs and higher education policy while serving as a student leader on Georgia State’s campus
LaTisha Mitchell is the Graduate Coordinator for Career Planning and Counseling. She will be in the office approximately 19 hours per week. Prior to coming to Agnes Scott, she worked as a Student Services Coordinator for Educational Talent Search at the University of South Carolina. LaTisha is a graduate of Furman University with a bachelor's degree in Youth Development. She is continuing her studies at Mercer University in the Masters of Higher Education Leadership Program. She enjoys fashion and traveling.
