The Agnes Scott softball team dropped two games to Maryville on Sunday, 11-3 and 6-2.
After losing the first game, the Scotties rallied and trailed by just one run at the end of three innings, 2-1.
A four-run, fourth inning for Maryville was too much for the Scotties to overcome.
Amanda Messina, Elizabeth Raby and Laura Schaeffer each recorded two hits in the second game, with Raby also scoring a run.
The Scotties return to action on Monday as they travel to face Piedmont. First-pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
