After going on the road to defeat Wesleyan, 3-0 on Saturday, Agnes Scott will host the Pioneers Monday on Gellerstedt Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
In their match on Saturday, Kelly Smith opened the scoring with the decisive goal, the first of her career. Kate Schuhlein recorded a goal and an assist, while Briana Karettis scored her sixth goal of the season. Caitlin Suilmann assisted Schuhlein on her score.
Goal keeper Ashley Watts recorded the shutout, her fifth of the season. Watts leads the conference in shutouts per game, recording her five in just nine games.
Head Coach Joe Bergin said despite the conditions of the match against Wesleyan, he was pleased with the team's performance.
“The conditions were less than ideal with the wind and the rain, but the players kept a very positive attitude and overcame a very determined Wesleyan side,” Bergin said.
The Scotties have won three of their last four matches. On Thursday, the Scotties tied Huntingdon, 1-1.
