An interview is strongly recommended but not required for all candidates. In addition to addressing your concerns, a personal interview allows us to better evaluate your application by giving our counselors the opportunity to find out more about your academic and extracurricular interests. And when held on campus, it can be very useful to you as you make your final college choice.
Off-campus interviews
We also provide off-campus interviews in selected areas during the fall when representatives from the admission office visit major U.S. cities and host informal receptions for prospective students and their parents. To see meeting times by state, go to ASC on the Road.
Talk to an alumna
An additional resource for prospective students is found in our extensive network of Agnes Scott alumnae admission volunteers. Located in many parts of the country, they are available to answer questions by telephone or e-mail and/or conduct informal in-person interviews.
