Most women in the program complete a bachelor of arts degree—and nearly half of the graduates go on to earn graduate degrees in fields such as medicine, law or theology.
Unique Services for Unique Students
Recognizing that Woodruff scholars have needs and concerns that differ from traditional students, the college also offers Woodruff scholars specially designed programs and facilities, from special orientation sessions and advising groups to the Alston Center's day student lounge and computer lab.
Getting Involved On Campus
Woodruff scholars are important members of the campus community. As a Woodruff scholar, you are eligible-and encouraged-to participate in any of Agnes Scott's 100 student-run clubs and organizations and to take advantage of all of the college's academic resources, such as the Center for Writing and Speaking and the Office of Career Planning.
Residence Life
On-campus housing is offered on a space-available basis, and some restrictions apply. The surrounding town of Decatur also offers Woodruff scholars convenient access to other housing resources and child care. For more information, review our residence life site.
