If you are having a family emergency and need to contact your daughter
During business hours, contact the dean of students’ office at 404 471-6391. After hours, contact public safety at 404 471-6355 or the dean of students’ emergency number at 404 216-0942.
If your daughter is upset or feeling anxious
During business hours, your daughter may make an appointment to speak with a personal counselor. All members of the dean of students’ staff are available throughout the day to meet with students regarding problems or anxieties. In the evenings, if there is an emotional or medical emergency with your daughter, she should call the dean of students’ emergency number at 404 216-0942, or consider asking your daughter to talk with her resident assistant or resident director. These student counselors are trained in helping fellow students with problems.

Personal counseling is open for appointments every day Monday through Friday. The staff also works with area mental-health providers to assist students with long-term needs. Students also may talk with members of the dean of students’ staff or their resident assistant or resident director when in the residence halls. These staff members have training in supporting students with personal problems.
