High School, Joint-Enrollment Students

Both female and male high school seniors can earn college credit by taking classes at Agnes Scott. All first-year courses are open to joint-enrollment students as space is available.

Academic Credits
You will be graded on the same scale as our regular students. Agnes Scott will issue transcripts to your high school for credit and to colleges and universities for credit evaluation. In addition, all courses completed satisfactorily can be credited toward a degree at Agnes Scott.

Tuition & Fees
Joint-enrollment students pay only 50% of undergraduate tuition. These are the tuition rates for 2010-2011 per academic semester:

  • 1-11 credit hours = $647.25/hour
  • 12-16 credit hours = $7,767/semester
  • A $215.00 student activity fee is required for students taking six or more hours in a semester.

As an example, a joint-enrollment student taking a standard four-hour course will pay $2,589.

Financial Aid
While financial aid from the college is not available to joint-enrollment students, you may be eligible for up to $1,750 per semester from Georgia’s ACCEL program
