Important Deadlines

Traditional >
You are 17-24 years old, are not married and have no children.

Transfer >
You attended a college or university after receiving a high school diploma.

Nontraditional >
Also known as a Woodruff Scholar, you are 24 years or older, or are married or have a child.

International >
You live abroad and are a citizen of another country. Or, you live in the U.S. and do not have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. Resident citizens of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands are not international.

Re-Admission >
You were previously accepted to Agnes Scott or previously attended Agnes Scott.

Non-Degree Seeking, For Credit >
You are a female or male student at another college or university and wish to earn credit as a transient student at Agnes Scott.

Non-Degree Seeking, Not For Credit >
You are a community member or an alumna and wish to audit classes at Agnes Scott.

High School Joint Enrollment >
You have completed your junior year in high school and wish to take a college course for credit. Open to females and males.  

 


Traditional

Early Action
Agnes Scott is your first choice or you want to get a decision quickly.

  • Admission application: November 15
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): After January 1 but no later than February 15 
  • Admission notification: Beginning December 15
  • Financial aid notification: Beginning March 1 
  • Deposit due: May 1

Scholarship Decision
You are interested in merit-based scholarships.

  • Admission Application: January 15
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): After January 1 but no later than February 15
  • Admission notification: Beginning January 25
  • Financial aid notification: Beginning March 1
  • Deposit due: May 1

Regular Decision
You are not interested in early acceptance or scholarships.

  • Admission application: March 1. Applications will be accepted after March 1, but financial aid packages will only be awarded on a funds-available basis.
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): After January 1 but no later than February 15 
  • Admission notification: Within three weeks of completion of file
  • Financial aid notification: Beginning March 1
  • Deposit due: May 1

We strongly encourage you to apply by these dates. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis thereafter.

  • Admission application for spring semester: November 1
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): At least two months before the start of the semester in which you plan to enroll
  • Admission application for fall semester: March 1
  • Financial aid notification: Beginning April 1

International

  • Priority application deadline for international students wishing to enroll for fall semester and who wish to be considered for merit awards:  January 15. 
  • Regular decision deadline:  March 1. Applications received after this date will be accepted on a space-available basis.
  • Notification of admission for priority applications:  Beginning January 25.
  • Notification of admission for regular decision:  Within 3 weeks of receipt of a completed application.
  • Notification of merit awards: Beginning March 1 
  • International applicants are not eligible to apply for Early Action notification.

  • Admission application for summer semester:  April 1
  • Admission application for fall semester: June 1
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): At least two months before the start of the semester in which you plan to enroll

Non-Degree Seeking, For Credit

Applications should be filed with the Office of the Registrar as early as possible. All courses are open on a space-available basis to non-degree-seeking students.

Applications should be filed with the Office of the Registrar as early as possible. All courses are open on a space-available basis to non-degree-seeking students.


High School Joint Enrollment

Applications should be filed with the Office of Admission as early as possible, but no later than one month before the beginning of a semester.
