Mills College Exchange Program

Agnes Scott College students may participate in a domestic exchange program at Mills College.

Students who choose an exchange affiliate continue to pay all fees to Agnes Scott College. Agnes Scott College monitors the total number of our exchange students with those from all our exchange affiliates attending Mills each semester to achieve balance.

Eligibility
Sophomores or juniors who have completed at least one year at Agnes Scott College and have a minimum 3.0 Agnes Scott College cumulative grade point average at the time of application are eligible.

Academic Credit
Agnes Scott College accepts credits earned by a student while on an exchange program in accordance with transfer policies.

Fees/Billing/Financial Aid
Exchange participants must pay full tuition and fees to Agnes Scott College, including room and board, while on exchange.  If the applicant is receiving financial aid, the award is applicable to these fees.  Students will be billed by Agnes Scott College, as usual, while on exchange.

The cost of travel to and from the exchange institution is the responsibility of the participating student.

Application Process
1. Complete and return the Exchange Application Form
2. Two letters of reference
3. Write a brief statement regarding why you want to take part in the Exchange Program and what you want to gain from it.

If there are more qualified applicants than there are spaces available, applications will be approved on a first come basis.

Next Steps
1. You will receive a nomination letter from Agnes Scott College if your application  has been approved.  A copy of your Agnes Scott College transcript and application will then be forwarded to the appropriate exchange college.
2. You will receive written notification of your acceptance from the exchange college.

The thing I value most is... that we... are so lucky to have numerous opportunities for internships, jobs, and can gain experience in whatever field we choose to concentrate.
