Student Complaint Process and Distance Education
The following information is provided in compliance with recent United States Department of Education regulations. In order to resolve academic grievances, complaints, and concerns in an expeditious, fair, and amicable manner, students are asked to consult the Agnes Scott College Student Handbook for information on the appropriate grievance procedures. Students are urged to exhaust all possible internal avenues for resolution before filing complaints with external agencies. Links to documents that will guide you through any problems you might have may be found on the Resources for Current Students page.
In the unlikely event that an issue cannot be resolved by the College, students may file a complaint with their respective state licensing authority. Unresolved complaints may also be filed with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the College's regional accrediting agency, once all internal avenues have been exhausted.
