General Study Abroad Deadlines

Deadline to submit the Agnes Scott College Application for Study Abroad Approval (required for all students) for Fall 2007, Academic Year 2007-2008 and Spring 2008. 

February 10, 2007 (4:30 p.m.)
Due to OIE: ISEP applications for Fall 2007, 2007-2008 Academic Year and Spring 2008 in competitive countries.

March 1, 2007 (4:30 p.m.)
Due to OIE: Most external applications for study abroad for Academic Year 2007-2008.

Deadline to submit the Agnes Scott College Application for Study Abroad Approval (required for all students) for Summer 2007

March 15th (4:30 p.m.)
Notification of study abroad approval.

April 2007
Pre-departure orientation (Required orientation for ALL students studying abroad in Summer 2007, Fall 2007 and Academic Year 2007-2008.

August 25, 2007 
Due to OIE: ISEP applications for Spring 2008 (Northern Hemisphere) and for February-December 2008 exchanges (Southern Hemisphere).

March 1, 2007
Due to OIE: Application for the Benjamin A. Gilman  International Scholarship for Fall 2007 and 2007-2008 academic year.

April 3, 2007
Benjamin A. Gilman  International Scholarship:  Student deadline for submission online application for Fall 2007.

October 1,2007
Due to Faculty Advisors: Fulbright, Rhodes and Marshall applications

November 30, 2007
Due to OIE: NSEP applications for 2008-2009


ASC Exchange Programs Deadlines

February 1, 2007: ASC Application for Study Abroad Approval form due to the OIE for Fall 2007, Academic Year 2007-2008, and Spring 2008 programs.

The external applications are due to the OIE on the dates indicated below.  The OIE will send all applications to the program sponsor at the same time.

ISEP (International Student Exchange Program)
Although ISEP offers rolling admissions, there are two "first-round" placement periods: one in September and another in February.

Deadlines for first round of placements beginning in Fall 2007 and for competitive Spring 2008 placements:

December 2006
Obtain ISEP applications on the ISEP website. Request letters of recommendation and language proficiency report, if applicable.

Submit a Transcript Request Form to the Registrar's office for an official transcript with Fall semester grades to be sent to the OIE.

February 10, 2007
Due to OIE: Applications for all ISEP programs for study abroad in Fall 2007, 2007-2008 Academic Year, and for Spring 2008 study abroad in very competitive places (e.g., UK, Fiji, Czech Republic).

Deadlines for first round of placements beginning in Spring 2008 and for February-December 2008 exchanges in the Southern Hemisphere:

March 2007

Council on International Education Exchange (CIEE) Deadlines

February 1, 2007: ASC Application for Study Abroad Approval form due to the OIE for Fall 2007, Academic Year 2007-2008, and Spring 2008 programs.
