Teaching and Scholarly Interests:
Winget's teaching experience includes general, physical chemistry and computational chemistry. His latest post-doctoral research experience with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Process and Modeling Branch includes computational toxicology: methods for toxicity prediction of pollutants; transportation and transformation of fullerene based nanoparticles; calculation of physical and chemical properties of chemicals using linear-free energy quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs), and perturbed molecular orbital theory.
