Teaching and Scholarly Interests:
Professor Qi is interested in financial innovations, reforms and links to development in China and other transitional economies; behavioral and experimental economics and finance; emerging capital markets and their implication to financial theories.
Professional Activities:
Professor Qi is a member of the China Research Center, the Chinese Economist Society, and the Southern Economic Association. She authored "Regional Competition, Fiscal Federalism and Economic Structure: Evidence from China" published in Resurgent China: Issues for the Future (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2009), and "Information Use and Transference Among Legally Separated Share Markets: An Experimental Approach" (with Jack Ochs) published in Southern Economic Journal.
