Teaching and Scholarly Interests:
Professor Behan's historical interests include the 17th- and 18th-century philosophers Descartes, Locke and Hume. He also studies philosophic problems of self and personal identity. A recipient of many honors and grants, he has served as both president and vice president of the Georgia Philosophical Society.
