Teaching and Scholarly Interests:
Professor House's research focuses on 19th and 20th century French literature, modern society and visual culture, history and narative, the contemporary murder novel, crime and post-modernism, Francophone literature and film, and photography. Her dissertation topic is "Desire and the Art of Killing: The French Murder Narrative from the Papin Sisters to Postmodernism."
