Research Opportunities and Internships
Research Involvement
You can participate in and complete several research projects during your time at Agnes Scott. Many of our students are a first author on publications or presentations at regional, national and international conferences.
Research opportunities can be developed with local, national and international organizations including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Emory Autism Center, the Yerkes National Primate Research Center and Zoo Atlanta to name just a few.
Internships
Many psychology students complete multiple internships during their time at ASC. Examples include working with:
- Industrial and organizational psychologists at Coca-Cola's headquarters
- Corporate Insights and Development
- McKinsey and Company
- Public Broadcasting
- Georgia Power
- The Ronald McDonald House
- Clinical and counseling psychologists in the local community
