"Working 40 hours per week, a woman should be able to support her family."

Why I Support Living Honorably
I’m proud of our students, the way they go out into the community, living their values. I’m proud that the college is teaching hourly staff to use computers and offering courses for those who aren’t native English speakers. Step by step, we’re coming into a world where people recognize each other’s human needs. If we can get a living wage at Agnes Scott, the power of this vision will go out into DeKalb County, into Atlanta and all over the U.S. Why shouldn’t we be the ones to start it?
