Why I Support Smart Growth
The technology was new to me, even to some of my students. But I learned to use iPods in Spanish Conversation, so the class could hear different speakers, different accents. In Latin American Film, I’m now editing movies, juxtaposing passages for critique and downloading them onto the server. Soon the students will want to create their own documentaries. As Agnes Scott moves forward in technological sophistication, we’ll see a new dynamic in classroom teaching.

"Students know what’s available. We have to make our classes as savvy as the current technology."
