Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research collects, analyzes and reports data to facilitate decision making and campus planning as well as to meet external reporting requirements. We encourage you to learn more about Agnes Scott through the information below.

Baccalaureate Origins
Baccalaureate Origins refer to the tracking of the baccalaureate degree-granting institutions whose graduates earn a Ph.D.

Common Data Set
The Common Data Set Initiative is a collaborative effort between publishers and the educational community to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student's transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the burden on colleges of compiling and reporting information.

National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE, pronounced “nessie”) attempts to go beyond college rankings by asking students about their level of engagement during their first year and senior year in college.
